Bad Books – 42 chords

This is a great song from the fantastic new Bad Books record, and one of Andy
Hull's finest vocally in my opinion. The picking pattern is kind of random, as is
characteristic of many songs written by Andy Hull.

CAPO 1

CWhen you're with another man inside another home
F CDo you adapt to the walls? Do you adapt to the walls?
CFound the newspaper, thumbing my hands through doing another dance,
F CDoing what I could, well it don't, you gotta leave me alone
G F CAnd I wonder if you still lived at home
G F CYeah, I wonder if you still lived at home
CWhat do you think you'd have done without a colder beer
F CA fresh pack of zigs and zags, lighting another fag
G F CAnd I was hungover and you would come hang over
G F CI was hungover and you would come hang over
G F CAnd start a biblical fire
C F CYou and your dad, what a tragic mishap, ha-ah-ah-ah-ap
G F CWhen a man loves a drink more than blood
G F Am G FAnd I pace my room for an hour or two every day since 2001

At the end, it sounds like he goes between C and F a few times before ending on C.
