Kate Voegele – Hallelujah chords ver. 3

This is my first tab in quite a while so I hope everyone likes it!!
This tab was based off of the Kate Voegele version and a version my dad taught me.
I thought some of his chords sounded
strange so I changed a few as well. There seems to be lots of ways to play this
song and this is just how i do it :)

I'm mainly a vocalist, so i decided to keep the guitar pretty raw on this song. I
just pick the 4th and 1st string, and
then the 4th and 2nd string of each chord, each time letting the notes ring for 2
beats. For a more complicated guitar
part, listen to the song and be creative!!

Unfortunately, I had a few problems in uploading this song. Some of the chords
aren't directly over where they should be.
But listen to the song and it should be pretty obvious. Sorry!!

A DWell I've heard there was a sacred chord
A DDavid played and it pleased the Lord
F#m ABut you don't really care for music, do ya ?
AWell it goes like this:
D F#m The fourth, the fifth, the minor fall and the major lift
D E F#mThe baffled king composing Hallelujah
D F#m D A E A Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah
A DWell your faith was strong but you needed proof
A DYou saw her bathing on the roof
F#m A Her beauty and the moonlight overthrew you
A D She tied you to her kitchen chair
F#m She broke your throne, she cut your hair
D E F#mAnd from your lips she drew the Hallelujah
D F#m D A E A Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah
A DOh baby I have been here before
A DI've seen this room and I've walked this floor
F#m A You know I used to live alone before I knew you
A D And I've seen your flag on the marble arch
F#m And love is not a victory march
D E F#mIt's a cold and it's a broken Hallelujah
D F#m D A E A Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah
A DWell there was a time when you let me know
A DWhat's really going on below
F#m A But now you never show that to me do you
A D And remember when I moved in you
F#m The holy dove was moving too
D E F#mAnd every breath we drew was Hallelujah
D F#m D A E A Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah
A DWell maybe there is a God above
A DBut all I've ever learned from love
F#m A Was how to shoot somebody who outdrew you
A D And it's not a cry you that hear at night
F#m It's not somebody who's seen the light
D E F#mIt's a cold and it's a broken Hallelujah
D F#m D F#m Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah
D F#m D A E A Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah
