Puddle Of Mudd – Drift & Die tab ver. 4

I love tabs, gives you the clues when training your ear. I however noticed among some of the other tabs an easier way but sometimes not a full feel.

The tuning on this song is dropped half a step to Eflat. (if you want to play with the song)

For the accoustic part, I'm using the lower strings to give the sound a deeper feel.

I am also showing you this with a dropped D for added depth. (that is the sixth string dropped down a whole step)

On the Second set of chords, you can get away with muffling (or not striking) the 5th and 6th strings to make life easier since the majority of the melody we hear on the guitar is being dictated by the 2nd and 3rd strings.

This next section is the pre-chorus and chorus (as I call them). I've seen power chords used and that doesnt give a full sound. Try this instead. Notice the two last chords are BIG chords. This just gives a fuller sound, you can get away with just striking the 4th, 5th, and 6th strings. When using the distortion, you can still get away with this, but on his track, they do use power chords. Accoustic
