turn ONLY the high e string half a step down!  This song has to be played with a guitar that has both a bridge and a toggle switch, this cannot be played with Van Halen's famous stratocaster, it is always played with a Les Paul. an SG will also work.  you must turn one of your pickups completely off and set it on the lowest toggle switch so that when it is on the middle toggle setting, it will be muted, this is very improtant!
I just want to let you know that i did use other peoples tabs and took out parts and did some editing to make it just this much better.
