This is one of my favorite Green Day songs, off of their Warning Album, this is a hit
to me and i put in A LOT of work of tabbing this to make this perfect. And if there is
you disagree with I'll consiter and
update to make it as perfect as possible.

For settings, have it mediumly (if thats a word) distorted. Dont have it too lightly
and dont have it heavy metal distorted. If you dont have a petal then use your NECK up
the tone set to 10. This gives you a pretty clean sound. Its the next best thing. When
turns distorted then switch it to the bridge pick up.

Playing Live opinions. When play this song live, Billie uses a Gibson SG in standard
He plays the first solo and then lets Jason play the chours solo. For the bridge (which
like acoustic guitar on the album version, he palm mutes the verse)

There are many ways to play this song. Here are two versions and a bass tab to go along
it. There are all ready a lot of Waiting tabs but I think is the ultimate tab along with
Also don't send me comments like "hey this is a guitar tab but why is there bass stuff?"
are just stupid.

LIVE UPDATE: FEB, 7, 2007:While looking @ videos on YouTube, i looked at this fingeringhe plays this song in standard tuning and his chorus differently. ALSO! There is another way of playing this song. Green Day is popular with this way in
tuning is half a step down. For example, Dookiethe whole album was half a step down. In
words you could play everything 1 fret down if the song is in half step down. But since
did a standard tuning tab you tune your guitar half a step down and play everything 1
up. But since Im caring enough I dont want to go and find another tab so here is this
tab but only in half step tuning and the finger completely changed!
This is also good for those who can't add and subtract small numbers.
