Hymn – Come Thou Fount Of Every Blessing chords

Ok, so I got on here to learn this song, but none of tabs were doing it justice, so I made my own.
This is in the Key of D, but can easily be capo-ed up or changed entirely. There are a few chords
(set in parentheses) that are not required, but more implied. However sometimes it gets a little
busy switching chords so much, so you can just skip those and it will sound fine. Also the D/F#
chords aren't required they just add a nice touch. Hope you enjoy it. I am working on maybe a new
part/verse at the end that I may add later.

Verse 1:
D D/F# ACome Thou Fount of every blessing

(A) Bm DTeach me some melodious sonnet,
(A) Bm A DSung by flaming tongues above.
A D D/F# APraise the mount! I'm fixed upon it,
D/F# G A DMount of Thy redeeming love.
Verse 2:

D/F# G A DSafely to arrive at home.
(A) Bm DJesus sought me when a stranger,
(A) Bm A DWandering from the fold of God;

Verse 3:
D D/F# AO to grace how great a debtor
D/F# G A DDaily I'm constrained to be!
D D/F# ALet that goodness like a fetter,
D/F# G A DBind my wandering heart to Thee.
(A) Bm DProne to wander, Lord, I feel it,
(A) Bm A DProne to leave the God I love;
A D D/F# AHere's my heart, O take and seal it,
D/F# G A DSeal it for Thy courts above.
