Slade – Everyday chords

Chords:
Transpose:
This is my first time submitting a song, and probably about the 4th time transcribing a song.
It's a pretty easy song to play and there are a few ways you can go about it.

It's in E minor and the chords used are as follows: Em D C C7 B A Ge|------------------------------------------------------| B|------------------------------------------------------|G|--------------------------9---------------------------|D|--9-----7-----3-----------8------4--------------------|A|--7-----5-----5-or-10-----10-----2-or-9------7-----5--|E|--------------------8-----8-----------7------5-----3--|
As you can see there are a few ways you can play these chords. You can even use open chords if you like, but this is how I play the song. Sometimes switching it up a bit. Do whatever works best for you. This is how I play the intro, listen to the song for timing: Em / / / D / / / C B A G / / ^ Here you can quickly slide the chord up to B to try and replicate that little thing they do on the piano. Rest of the song: Verse 1
G DEveryday when I'm away
Em D CI'm thinking of you
G D The D chord on every second line Everyone can carry on doesn't seem to be played in the
Em D C next verse. Except for we two
C7 GAnd you know that our love
C7 GAnd you know that I
C7 G DAnd you know that our love won't die
CHORUS..... Em D Chorus is just like the intro And it won't even show
C B D GAnd no-one will know
Em DOne little wave
C GTo say you'll behave
Em DIt won't even show
C B A GHow far love can go
Verse 2......
G DEveryday when I'm away
Em CAnd there's been a few
G DEvery land I need a hand
Em CTo help me come through
C7 GAnd you know that our love
C7 GAnd you know that I
C7 G DAnd you know that our love won't die
I'm sure you can work out the rest from here.
