Train – Lincoln Avenue tab
Hey, this is my first submission on here. i'm open for suggestions. i noticed that the chords that were up for this were completely wrong, so i had to out the right ones and correct them. so here. also, this is figured out for piano, so i'm going to have to explain some of the i'll do that at the end. I'm not sure about the instrumental section in the middle, i usually just play Am, Em, Dm. it sounds pretty good. anyway. here. C Em Fm Well I guess this is where I left my life Dm And all its operations C Em Fm And I know that I will never get this twice Dm With all negotiations For the next line play an Am chord but drop the root from, A, G#, G, F every four beats. Am This feels like the place between what is and might have been C Em Fm So I guess this is where we both find out Dm If this was meant to be C Em And IÂll tell myself, I donÂt need you Fm Dm IÂll tell myself enough to get me through C Em Fm But IÂll finally show you how I should have been being with you every day Dm If you can take a little more C Em Fm Now it takes me back to times on Lincoln Avenue Dm When you said youÂd never get tired of the boy C Em Fm That seemed to be so far from growing up Dm But we were different then same Am Pattern as before Am This feels like the place between being ready and being in the way C Em And IÂll tell myself, I donÂt need you Fm Dm IÂll tell myself enough to get me through C Em Fm But IÂll finally show you how I should have been being with you every day Dm If you can wait a little more instrumental. i'll post it when i get it. Am thing again Am This feels like the time that IÂm ready for you Are you ready for me C Em ÂCause IÂll tell myself IÂll make it through Fm Dm IÂll tell myself anything to get over you C Em And I wonÂt blame you but IÂm finally ready to show you Fm Dm That IÂm ready to show you, IÂm ready to show you, yeah C Em Fm Dm IÂll tell myself that I never needed anybody anyway, but anyway C I need you Em I need you now Fm I need you now Dm IÂm ready now the chords pretty much follow a basic quarter note pattern throughout the song. the inversions i found are: C - C, E, G Em - B, E, G Fm - C, F, A Dm - A, D, F the Am progression is: A, C, E G#, C, E G, C, E F, C, E that's it.
