Little River Band - Lady tab

Lady

By Little River Band

Tabbed by Nick C.

I didn't see a tab of this that I liked, so here's my version.
This is my first time tabbing something this large, but any feedback is good feedback.
I tried to get the timing of the lyrics as close as possible,
but sometimes it wasn't possible,
so listen to the song for all the right timings.

And I love you best. You're not like the rest. You're there when I need you you're there when I need I'm gonna need you. [Verse 2] Electric guitar fingerpicks what the acoustic guitar did in verse 1. It's hard to hear what it does on the D and E chords, but I just improvise a fingerpicking pattern. Acoustic guitar strums the chords. A A/G A/F# A/G A A/G A/F# A/G A long time ago I had a lady to love D A A/G A/F# A/G She made me think of things I never thought of E D Now she's gone and I'm on my own A A/G A/F# A/G A love song has come into my mind A A/G A/F# A/G A A/G A/F# A/E A love song, it was there all the time [Chorus] (All instruments just play the chords) D A So lady, let me take a look at you now D A You're there on the dance floor, making me want you somehow D A A/G A/F# A/E Oh lady, I think it's only fair I should say to you E D A (to solo) Don't be thinkin' that I don't want you, 'cause maybe I do [Solo] Piano and acoustic guitar play Verse 2 Moderately distorted electric guitar plays:
