This alienated rant was a #15 hit for the Music Machine in early 1967. My
bar band covered it as late as 1975, with me snarling the lead vocal,
whacking on a tambourine, and playing both organ and the detuned low-E
guitar riff at various points in the song. --AWR

                            (Sean Bonniwell)

[Note: the rhythm guitar is tuned down a minor third; the key riff of the
verses is played F#-E but sounds Eb-Db.]
